Is my glucometer malfunctioning?
I have an accucheck glucometer i justed tested my blood sugar after 2h after lunch and it came 75mg/dl i checked again after a minute just to test how accurate glucometer was and result was 85mg/dl how can blood sugar levels change so rapidly in a span of a minute do i need to replace my machine? Please help.

while checking , at prick site wipe with cotton and next coming blood to be tested..
some time the serous fluid- mixed with blood may vary sugar readings
and also there will be 10 to 15% variations innblood sugars compare to capillary, venous and arterial blood and also to lab and glucometer record

Every glucometer has a variation of about 5-10% and not accurate especially in post meal state.
