Eltroxin dose enquiry

My mother is CA breast stage 3C ( recovered) , hypothyroidism patient. My mothers TSH levels were normal earlier. Two months her Tsh level shot up to 24. She did not miss any dose of medicine and takes it daily without fail eltroxin 150 mg. After the test an endocrinologist told her to take 7 tablet at once on Sunday only and not take eltroxin during the whole week except on that day. And told to do a test after repeating this regime for 2 months . Now 2 months are done and we have a lockdown. Hence not being able to go for test. Please suggest what to do now should we go back yo the old routine of one tab per day or continue the once in a week regime for some more time .
