Hi recently recovered from covid and under steroid treatment for 10 days 8mg/day. Undergone vitals tests and found h1bac 5.8 and average blood sugar is 120. Fasting value 90 and post lunch 130.No history of diabetic. What are those values, does steroids increased blood sugars??

Next Steps
repeat FBS,ppbs after completing course of steroids (24 hrs later).

Yes steroids increase blood sugars in people who are prone to developing diabetes. But current values are normal
