Hi doc..My father aged 61 is suffering from fever for past 1 week 101 . We gave him paracetamol ..which gives relief for a while but the situation remains the same. His oxygen level is 98. He is not facing any breathing problems. Mild cough is there. He is a diabetic patient..And his sugar level is ok. Please consult wat to do ..too much weakness in the body

My Father in Law has thyroid and taking medicine regularly. Currently is it safe to take Covid shield or covaxine vaccine? Also he has blood pressure.

Can we eat soaked dates if we have diabetes? I usually avoid sweet things but I've heard we can have them.

Hi my father who is 63 is now on insulin due to high blood sugar level his current dose are FIASP 12 -12-10 unit in a day and lantus 24 in night plus zava od 100 mg once a day. Yet his sugar level fasting is 350-400 and pp 450-550 he takes balance diet yet it is not anywhere near controlled. Kindly suggest what we can do to keep it under control

My father has covid and he is currently on medrol but his blood sugar level is high . Three continuous reading higher than 350 . My physician said take insulin , what kind of insulin and in what doses should i give him.

My hba1c is 11... First time being diagnosed...I have been prescribed insulin because my RBS is not reducing...it's always around 350 with tablets... Will I be under insulin for the rest of my life or is there chances to reverse it??? Thank you

I was taking aryuvedic medicine earlier and the sugar level was under control. Was diagonised with covid pneumonia in the month of Oct2020 and post covid the sugar level remains quite high, Fasting ranges from 130-180 and pp 270-350 I don't want to take insulin or Allopethic medicines, olease advice aryuvedic medicine and also other advice/precautions.

Covid symptoms on 12 th april.. mild medication started on 14 april. Spo2 reduced to 89 on 21 april. Home hospitalized with OXYGEN support and medication from MD doctrs. 2ml x 3 times x 5 days Dexona.. lifenox for d dimer.. 6 inj. Monocef.. and DUOLIN BEDUCORT respu les 3 timss. Now on 2 may shes ok. With spo2 97 without support. Sugar level rised to 600 during treatment and now its 325 fasting. 20 units insulin 3 times a day given. Pre covid her level never increased 160 170 on Glycomet GP1 once daily without strict diet guidelines. Pls suggest
