I have lost the sense of smell since almost 2 years now. I have allergies and sneeze often. I saw a doctor sometime back but she suggested surgery. Since it was my mother who went to show my report to the doctor I really dont know what is really wrong with me. I dont want to undergo surgery. Please advise.

It has been 2 weeks, since i moved in to bangalore. I have cough from the day i came here. I took azethromycin for 3 days & it got off at the start but after 2 days i got cold and cough especially during morning & night. I am taking benedrill from then everynight. Any suggestions? From the past 3-4 months, I was unable to speak clearly at low volume. Though, there is no pain, no coughing.
