Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

Since the last few weeks, my 8 year old son has been suffering from runny nose, accompanied with sneezing. Now suddenly he has started feeling itchiness in his eyes. I feel this is a case of nasal polyps in children. Can anybody suggest solutions?

Recently, one of my relatives faced issues with her epiglottis which led me to wonder what is the exact location of this organ. Can someone tell me where is the epiglottis located? I am looking forward for a detailed answer!

I am a 34 year old woman and for the past couple of weeks I have been facing severe throat pain and difficulty in swallowing. I thought I had sore throat and got over the counter medications and nothing seems to work. It is definitely not strep throat infection. Sometimes, I am forced to believe that I have developed Epiglottitis. What are the symptoms of Epiglottitis and when should I go and consult a doctor?

Today there was a big quarrel among my friends in our hostel. Two of my best friends were fighting. They are giving slaps and blows to each other. I wanted to stop the fighting, so I stood in between them but unfortunately one of a powerful slap/blow hit me directly in my ear. I had no bleeding but I feel like I am unconscious. Will the slap disturb my balance/equilibrium? Will my brain get damaged? I am a student and I have lots of things to do in my life. Will it damage by balance/equilibrium?

There is pain near jaw line in right side below ear and I am even suffering from voice horseness from last one year. Voice cracks in between while speaking.

Suffering from left vocal cord palsy from last two months. Cect of neck and chest thorax done. All found ok. Visited aiims too for checkup. They asked me to visit voice clinic. Is this problem is curable? Want to know what voice clinic will do now? How they will treat? What voice exercises i have to do? Till when i should expect that my voice will recover? Please help me to recover as my daily life is suffering beacuse of low and horse voice. .

From one week itching in throat..now light dry cough has started from yesterday. Around 3 years ago ..throat itching and dry cough was there continuously for an year..

I'm having earwax in my left ear, I used scissor to remove it as I thought it was near, but I pushed it inside, and the next day at night it was paining so I put ear drops (clear wax), and now I'm not able to hear and also It is paining, what should I do, I started to put ear drop from Saturday night, should I consult a doctor, or wait for 5 days to soften the wax, but the problem is I'm feeling deaf from left ear and it is paining
