Not able to smell

Asked for Female, 63 Years

My mother is not able to smell any fragrance or anything since last one and half years. In middle sometime smell comes but for just few mins and than again disappear. She is diabetic patient and has Bronchitis problem for which she is on medication. Sugar level is in range of 180-200.

Probably sinonasal polyposis obstructing the olfactory gutter. A CT scan of her paranasal sinuses should reveal the pathology.
