Ear-Nose-Throat Problems

Hi Doctors, I am male 31 years old. Since 3rd February,2025 evening I have fever ( 100.2 F) and mild sore throat. On 4th February The soreness in throat increased and the fever also started increasing till 102.8F. I went to a doctor and he said I had tonsillitis as I noticed I have lot of white patches in the left tonsils and some in right also. He prescribed Augmentine Duo 625 twice for 5 days and dolo on SOS basis and beta dine gargling and salt water gargling. I started the antibiotic and other things since yesterday but the fever ( 100.4 F to 100.8F) is still coming every 5 hours interval post having Dolo. Only improvement I notice post starting antibiotic is the intensity of fever decreased yesterday it was going till 102.6F but today it's in between 100.4f to 100.6F. Soreness also is decreased very little not any major change I noticed there. Is it something we need to worry,? Do I need to add some more medication to it? Please suggest... we are tensed a bit.

I have a little high thyroid that is around 5 i don't use any medicine.....i want to know what food are best to reduce thyroid in our daily diet??

I am facing a problem that whenever I swallow I have clicking sensation or popping sound on right side of throat and sometimes in middle of throat and pain in my right ea and blocked right nose . Sometimes i feel as if something is there in throat. Right side of my throat feels heavy. I've started using nasal spray which helped a bit but it's not fully going. 2 days it is fine then next day again it feels the same. I've to put my face upward so that it should not click and I should feel discomfort. What it can be ? I'm not sure if it's GERD or anything else.

Since the last two days, I have been noticing thick mucus with brown-colored blood in my morning snot. The weather here is cold, and my nose feels dry. I have had a habit for a long time of breathing through my mouth while sleeping at night since my nose often gets blocked. On the night of February 4th, I was feeling feverish, so I took Cetirizine and Dolo 650. The next morning, on February 5th, when I snorted and coughed, the mucus (similar to the attached picture) came out. The same thing happened today when I did the same. This has occurred a few months ago as well when I stayed in a hotel where the air conditioning was too cold, and I felt like I might get a fever. I had taken the same medicines at that time too. Since this morning, after snorting, I have been experiencing slight pain behind my neck. I am a smoker since last 10-12 years. Since last 4-5 months, the intake has increased from 4-5 sticks to a pack of 10 or more.

Before .two months ago I used fluticason az , after using the spray I felt a very severe headache of my life , now the doctor suggested fluticason fluorate, I want to know this can cause headache or shoot bp

Recently had CT scan for sinus and following impression are mentioned -MILD BILATERAL MAXILLARY SINUSITIS, -BILATERAL GRADE 2/3 FENESTRAL AND RETROFENESTRAL OSTOSCLEROSIS. Please mention what actually mentioned in it and facing severa hearing loss on the both ears and using hearing aid

Hello, I am 35 year old women and from past two years my voice is very unclear and tone reduced also it sounds like pain in voice. Also I gone through some stressful situations after pregnancy. What should I do now. What will be the course of this and I am little bit tensed.

Sir/ Ma'am I want to know.. my TSH level is 7.4, do I need to take medicines ? This is 1st time I am doing blood test after 14 months of delivery. During pregnancy my thyroid level was normal. This is 1st time in my life my TSH level is high and 1st time my life, it's been 8 days but periods are not coming. Please advice me, do I need to take medicines or it can be improved by making changes in life style and diet.

Hi myself final year mbbs student and the symptoms I have are Waking up in middle of night, headache, right nostril block during night, tiredness after waking up My pns ct-DNS to right with bilateral inferior turbinate hypertrophy, and left middle turbinate concha bullosa, right maxillary sinus polyp  IgE is elevated Pls I need some clarification weather my symptoms r due to these findings or should I under go any other tests or Fess is required?? On flutucosone and montek lc as of now
