Redness and watering in eyes
My mother is 69 years old. She has been experiencing continuous watering from her eyes throughout the day, along with mild redness and blurred vision,She consulted a local ophthalmologist and was prescribed Pixelub Multi, FML-T, and Relief Get 50% for one month. Her symptoms have improved by approximately 50%, but watering, redness, and some blurriness are still present.
She also has a history of persistent tinnitus, for which she has consulted several doctors without significant improvement. She sometimes feels uneasy/uncomfortable when her stomach is empty. She is also taking medication for high blood pressure.
Please advise whether further eye examination or tests are required, particularly for dry eye, blocked tear duct, cataract, eye pressure/glaucoma, or any other cause of the watering and blurred vision

Alternating Squint Since Birth
Hi Doctors,
I am a 24-year-old male with alternating squint (strabismus) since birth. I can focus with either eye, and when I use one eye, the other eye turns outward. The squint is noticeable, and people often comment on it, which has affected my confidence and eye contact.
I also have difficulty seeing distant objects, but my main concern is correcting the squint, not the blurred vision. I would like to know if I am still a suitable candidate for strabismus surgery at my age. Can surgery significantly improve the alignment of my eyes even though the condition has been present since birth? Would the surgery usually be performed on one eye or both? What is the success rate, what are the chances of needing a second surgery, and what are the major risks or complications? Also, is this type of surgery generally covered by health insurance in India if it is affecting daily life and confidence?
Thank you

Do I need to wear glasses all the time ?
I have had myopia since my early teens and I didn't get it corrected back then , 2 yrs ago I got glasses but I rarely wore them (-2.75 left eye , -3 right eye) the power remained the same
Now I got new glasses made (for a better frame) but I see less crisp with my left eye (very slightly tho) but I see well with my old glasses from the left . Overall , I see well with my new + old glasses. But the optometrist said , my eyes are becoming lazy . I'm very scared . Do I need to wear my glasses all the time for both near and far work ?
