Bone & Muscle problems

I have been having this pain in between ankle and calf. It is a muscular pain and it is not continuous but it varies. I did my vitamin d test, 25 oh vitamin d (total) was 15.58 ng/ml. I was advised to take D rise tablet for 1 month, weekly but it has not really helped. The pain is present at night when I come from office. I have been exercising , but it gets difficult to walk sometimes.

A week ago I woke up and my lower right leg felt like I had had a Charlie horse while I was asleep and it was really sore.it felt better after a little but then started to come back at first just around the outside of my ankle with swelling and bruising pain. The swelling spread up my shin while the pain took on my entire shin all the way around.

Usually i suffer from swelling for 2 day and pain for 4 days or so. Then gradually it reduces. But this time the pain is still prevails even after a month. I consulted orthopaedic. He informed i'm suffering from chronic ATFL ,have damage my one of the three ligament. He has prescribed me for physio. Is physio necessary? Which physio to consult?
