Bone & Muscle problems

I have a problem of slip disc of L4, L5 & S1, filling varry much pain. Recently fill down ward pain of left leg. Doctor suggested to me neorelax mr 8, gabanuron od+, gemcal & also suggested to exacrice twice daily and use ice pad. Is that cure my problem? Or go to surgery.

My mom met with an injury yesterday, in kitchen stone has fell on the back of the ancel part and it got swelled. On that we spayed volini pain relief but after that she was unable to feel concious from her little finger to till the joint of leg below the lower back. she can walk properly, but I am worried about the swellon part n feeling in sensitive near the little finger. Could u please suggest me for the best suggestion for medication. I will be waiting for your reply.

She feels low back pain while lying down on bed and also sometime when she walk. She is having weight around 68 kg having height 5 ft. She is having extra weight.is this because of over weight??.so how can she control this? She doesn't feel pain during walking after Bilateral TKR surgery. Pls provide your suggestions on this.
