Bone & Muscle problems

Hello doctor! I participated in a physically challenging running event in November'18 and while doing one of the activity in the run I fell on my back. Post the race, I wasn't able to bend much but it felt more like a case of fatigue/strain in the back than anything else. I was able to bend after a few days but with a pain sensation. I showed it to my local doctor who prescribed me paracetamol dosage. After a week, pain had reduced but it was still present and my doctor advised me to continue for another week. Now I've completed with my medication but still I feel that little pain sensation everytime I bend. It's less than it was before but it's still there. I want to resume my physical activities like playing cricket and running but I'm afraid that this lingering pain in my back will get worse if I start doing it. Please suggest what should I do to get rid of the pain. Should I see any specialist or get some scans done? If yes then which specialist and which scans should I go for?

Hi i need a urgent help From last week i am feeling pain in my left hand finger. i consult with gernaral physician and taken  few medicine but no such result.. this is a strange problem for me. i need suggestions which doctor to consult in this case and what can be cause for this issue. Thanks

Hi, My mother is having severe pain in her right leg joint, X ray revealed that it is Osteophyte at superior pole of right patella. Doctor suggested  medication i. e  Etoricoxib 120 mg tablets which she is taking daily along with the she is along doing exercise instructed by doctor but her condition is not improving. Whenever she discontinue medicine as she gets lot of side effect with the medicine like stomach upset, giddiness etc, she again gets the pain. Please suggest any other alternative for this condition, is surgery is advisable in her case? And is it safe to use  this medication for the long term. Thank you Regards Amit Ranjan

Dear doc...I had an two days ago and had consumed a doctor who told me that my fracture will be healed in plaster without any operation...but when I consulted to another ortho doctor he advised me to have operation..and also told me that if I didn't have it...it will cause problem in my future...sir I want to ask if I don't do the operation will my wrist cause problem in mobility...I don't want to have my operation as I am already having an rod insertion in my femur...what should I do...ryt now my wrist is in plaster

Having heel pain for long time. The pain is always there. Sometimes it increases and sometimes low.Have not taken any medication so far. Also I am not having thyroid or diabetes.

Bimalleolar ,syndesmotic, fibula injury due to accident. Her x- Ray results are fine.but doctor is asking to take Gemtide injection for 6 months. Is there any other alterative drug apart from taking injection.

My dad met with a small accident and injured his knee and shoulder which is an internal injury Could I get any help on which pain killer should I give him for time being ? He is 55
