I sprained the right side of my left leg(near ankle) one month ago. It was getting better so I started walking again but now it has become worse and doesn't seem to be getting better. I have gotten an X-ray and xray was completely normal . what should I do?

My son is 17 years old he wants to increase his height so he researched on internet and found that he should consume 5-9 grams of l-arginine daily for muscle and bone growth. So that would mean consuming 5-9 1000mg tablets of l arginine daily. Would it be safe to consume.
