Tooth and Mouth Problems
Impacted third molar
I have an impacted third molar which is causing me severe issues, iam
Constantly discomforted and under a lot of mental pressure! Dentists have prescribed me extraction , but since its close to the mamdibular nerve, they said its going to be a complex surgery not a minor one! Now my question is: Iam planning a trip abroad in coming 15 days from now, however i want to get it extracted first and then go bcs of the constant irritation, but iam also afraid that the wound won't heal & i will have eating issues etc while on vacation! What do all the specialists here suggest? Coming back and then going fr extraction or getting rid of this & going from free mind ! I have to take a decision today as i just have 15 days from today!

Root tip infected at #48 ?
Extracted wisdom lower right 48 fifteen years ago.
Jaw pain started in 2020 lower right and lower molar region started to hurt as well. Removed 46 only because it was painful but no issues on it. Cbct scan several times and normal.
Now 47 hurts so much in the gum surrounding that gum margin. Severe pain in distal side of 47.
Had SRP twice in the last 6 months for that tooth because it said getting bad tartar buildup.
Dentist said I have root tip left over on 48 wisdom but he is not sure if it's infected. Is it infected?
Do I have osteomyelitis? Dentist said this word that I need to get evaluation for this.

Is any infection in jaw bone?
I have severe pain in the gum of 47 distal side and gum margin. And #48 region.
Removed #46 last year July because it was painful for tapping and biting. No issues seen on the scan and x-ray. Tried trial of 4 RCTs on it. Didn't help. Nothing seen on the scan.
But severe pain, so they pulled out. Surgeon said it was infected at the bottom and jaw bone when he pulled out. He said that's not seen on the cbct.
Now severe pain in#47. Do I need to extract this?
Any infection seen on the#47 48 region? Jaw bone infected? What should be my next step to do. Please advise.
47 tooth always get bad bad tartar buildup only on that tooth. Did SRP twice in the last 6 months only for that tooth. Other gums were fine.
I am taking pain killers and it's not helping with pain for not even an hour. Constant pain in the jaw near ear area( where mandible ends) and the gum of 47 area.

Flappy gum
I just had a cleaning for tartar removal. But after the cleaning, I have a little flappy gum between two of my front lower incisors. I also feel my incisors are a bit loose, though I can't see them moving, but I can feel them moving. What should I do about my gums?

Toothpaste
I've seen that some people who have genetically good teeth, use normal toothpastes like the cheapest version of colgate and have no dental problems ever. I have also been brushing really nicely all my life, but still had got tartar(which had to be professionally cleaned) especially at the back surface of my lower incisors(perhaps coz they are closest to salivary gland?) Please recommend a toothpaste for protection from plaque/tartar(I don't want tartar again). Also, should I add flossing to my dental hygiene routine. Please suggest a detailed dental hygiene routine with toothpaste, mouthwashes, floss, etc.
P.S. I have searched up google and only got confused about what to do, what not to do.

Any periodontist/ endodontist here?
I have severe pain in the gum #47. Severe pain in that gum which hurts always like throbbing around the gum margin. Dentist took x-rays and said it's ok.
Is this gum looks infected?
Do I need to do RCT or extraction?
I posted earlier and one dentist from practo said that I have root tip on #48 region. I removed that tooth ten years ago. Don't know if anything left over there.
Do you see any root tip there? And is it infected??
I have severe pain in the lower jaw near the mandible jaw line angle. Along with the pain in the molar gums.
Have this pain since 2020. No relief yet.
1. Do I have any infection on #47? What to do next sure that? Had deep cleaning a month ago. Picture taken before SRP. Severe pain in that gum47 for 2 years now.
2. Do I have any root tip left under 48 region? Is it infected? Is my jaw bone infected?
3. Does root tip left over for ten years cause sudden pain now, in the jaw and adjacent gums??
Please help. Thanks a lot.
