Tooth and Mouth Problems

Pain started suddenly on Tuesday, was able to control it with ibuprofen and numbing solution on the gums. No tooth/teeth in the area of pain. Can't pinpoint the pain either. Have some facial swelling as well. Pain had become do constant that ibuprofen does nothing. There's nothing visual that I can see to figure out the cause. My b/p is 135/85.

It's been 6 months that I have worn retainer 24*7 & made visits as instructed by my Ortho. Next month I'm shifting to another country so is it fine if I dont make dentist visits any more but continue wearing my retainer 24*7 for the remaining 6 months
