My mother who was chronically anemic was diagnosed to have gastric antral vascular ectasia 3 yrs back..to prevent biood loss from stomach she was advised to do argon photocoagulation ,,,3 sessions were done but there was no change ...so we were told about hormonal or thalidomide therapy ...but because of the possible side efffects we havent started it...now she needs blood transfusion every month...kindly suggest some treatment for her ...is it possible to do laser treatment ...does it have any side effects...pls give your valuable suggestion..thanks in advance

Hello Doctor,I have a sour belching problem from 1 months.I also feel very heavy in my chest that's why sometimes I feel breathing problem.And when I woke up in the morning then also I feel very heavy in my chest.Please suggest me.

My father is a High BP and type 2 diabetes patient. Recently he experienced rapid memory loss, concentration issues, anxiety along with gastric issues (which we thought is not a major problem). we consulted a doctor (1 month ago) who diagnosed that my father is suffering from depression. He prescribed following medicines: Censpram 10mg, Ezolac .25 mg, Nexstar and Rabemac DSR. They had positive effect on my father's condition. But last week doctor asked to stop taking Rabemac DSR as he want facing any gastric issues any more. It has been 5 days and my father haven't taken this medicine but his condition is back to the way it was 1 month ago. He has continuous mild headache, difficulty in recalling words, names etc. like he was having before. I wish to know that, are depression and gastric issues related? What precautions are to be taken in such situation? What medicine can be prescribed in such situation?

15 days before i was having blood in my stool without pain i consulted doctr he gave me medicine n then i was fyn. But now since last 4 days i have got swollen muscles around mu anus like piles . Since 5-6 days I am having a lot of acidity in ma stomach, I feel really heavy evn if I haven't eaten any food, and the urge to urinate is higher but nothing happens, my stomach has bulged out and have become harder.i have taken ENO, GELUSIL but nothing is really working, am not being able to sleep as I feel to heavy.I want to detox my body so how shall I do it??

It is associated with distension and feeling of fullness and nausea. Does not get relieved on medications such as antacids or pantoprazole. Gets relieved spontaneously after 4 to 5 hrs. No aggravating factors. Has flatulence.
