Stomach Problems & Remedies

After eating I have a dull pain and constant burning its upper stomach under my chest. I feel nauseous and very uncomfortable.

He had severe abdominal ache a week back and was brought back home from hostel. On consulting, he was diagnosed with Acute Pancreatitis.His Last test for Amylase and Lipase showed 117 and 202 respectively. The first test had Amylase value at 215. His bilirubin was also slightly elevated which is now normal. Is it advisable to send him to hostel where it's unlikely that he will maintain his diet? Should we go to Hyderabad for consultation as suggested by a lot of people here in Ranchi.(no doctor has referred us to Hyderabad) . Please advice.

Hello Dr, my husband has stomach problem. Once he emptied the bowels in the morning and before taking breakfast, he is getting the burning sensation on the bowel delivering back area. In-between breakfast and lunch, if his stomach is empty, he is getting burning sensation on his back area. Whenever his stomach getting empty, he is getting this burning problem. Kindly explain and guide.

I recently started to work, and my eating schedule changed drastically. I skipped meals and ate at odd times. Its was all fine until one day i got serious tummy pain and discomfort due to Gas. From that day on i've been observing whenever i dont eat on time i get grumbling noise in stomach. And now sometimes even when i eat on time and good homemade food i get gas and grumbling noise. This never happened before. What is the best thing other than going to a doctor? My mother says i need to drink lot more water but that failed too. Also i am concerned that i may have worms in my stomach. I used to have a cat before which had worms and used to sleep on my bed.

What are some evidence based Indian foodstuffs that i must eat? I have GERD and i have a history of Gastric Esophagitis. I have 2 questions-Normally my diet is 3 big meals. I have been recommended 4-5 smaller meals during the day. But what should be those "4-5 smaller meals"? Because 3 big meals for usually are Chapati-Veggie for breakfast and lunch and Dal Rice with veggie for dinner. Secondly what foodstuffs will help reduce my chronic GERD problem?
