Dandruff scalp itching redness flakiness pain hair fall scalp visible trying so many anti dandruff shampoo but it's worsen

I have had perioral dermatitis for the past 3 months and was prescribed desonide gel. I used it for 2 months and had flare ups when I stopped using it for a day or two, which made me continue using it .As soon as I found out it was a steroid, I stopped using it and had the worst flare up. I started using azelaic acid cream in the meantime and went to another doctor. She prescribed me flutibact ointment for 2 days a week and zimba lotion for remaining 5 days. But the ointment also contains steroids and Iam scared it will worsen the condition or cause another flare up. I did message the doctor about it but she told me to follow through the prescription. What should I do in this case?
