Skin, Hair and Nail Problems
Yellow small patch on eyes
I’ve been noticing a small yellowish patch on my right upper eyelid which looks like xanthelasma. It appears mildly visible and sometimes looks a little more noticeable in certain lighting. I’m sharing my lipid profile for reference:
LDL 122,
Lipoprotein(a) 51.5 mg/dl
hs-CRP 4.04 mg/L
HDL/LDL ratio 0.37
I wanted to ask whether this looks concerning and if I get it removed, is there still a high chance that it can recur? I’ve heard that xanthelasma often comes back, so I wanted your opinion before deciding anything.

Itchy skin
My 5 yr old daughter has been recently diagnosed with allergic rhinitis by both pediatrician and ENT doctors..
Her skin, specially hands and legs become itchy which usually starts from March and lasts upto October... itching reduces or sometimes completely absent in winter.
She randomly itches her skin ,the skin cracks and bleeds and results in the condition that is shown in the picture.
She is on medication for allergic rhinitis (monticope and metaspray for 3 months now).
Is this skin condition and allergic rhinitis both interconnected.?..
Consulted few pediatrician regarding this skin issue .They said it will better...but she is having this condition from 2 yrs. Based on doc recommendtion using these-
Bathing soap... tedibar
Lotion... Cetaphil daily moisturising lotion applied twice..
Sunscreen... mamaearth rich moisturising sunscreen
When the itching increases then i use calapure in the affected area .
What should I do more?

Skin problem
Hi, I have noticed two small, flesh-colored "blobs" or skin tags on the back of my neck. They are painless and have been there for some time, but they occasionally get irritated by my shirt collar or a gold chain I wear.
I would like to know:
What are these growths likely to be (e.g., skin tags, moles)?
What are the safest clinical options for removing them (cryotherapy, cauterization, etc.)?
Is there any specific preparation needed before a removal procedure?
Are there any underlying health checks (like blood sugar) I should consider if I am prone to these?
I have attached a photo for your reference. Thank you!
I am ready to visit the clinic if it is in pune near Hinjewadi.baner or mahalunge.
I want painless removal only if possible

Tinea cruris treatment
I was prescribed I-win 100 capsules, dazit 5mg tablet and eberfine cream all for two weeks and it has cured the infection on some area of my bum1. The infection was localised at 4 places on my bum area. It cured 2 areas and the remaining 2 areas still persist. The medicine is not effective anymore. The skin appears a little bumpy and rough to touch when felt, itchy, flaky when dried, worsen when weather is hot and humid and seem to improve when weather is cool. Can I get prescription for this?

Best sunscreen that protects
Hello doctors. Could you please mention some sunscreens that are actually effective against tanning and protect against UV? I use Neutrogena but it's really oily for me and my skin is oily and acne prone so it feels super uncomfortable throughout the day. My doctor also recommended Tancare sunscreen, but the doctor I visited was shady so Im wondering if that works or is it just another "Dot and Key" sunscreen? I personally loved the sunscreen "Sunbless Oil Control Lotion" but it's rarely available anywhere. Please let me know what you prefer for oily, acne prone skin. Thank you!
