Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

I have this cyst like follicle heat boil type thing on the upper inside part of my left buttock, like at the end of the spine This happened before and I had immense discomfort sitting or standing especially because of the clothing contacting or putting pressure on that area It suddenly popped one day and there was some blood and also hair/pus type stuff that I cleaned out and figured that was the last Now it's back and I don't know how best to treat and take measures to prevent this from occurring again It's the same place as last time It's like a heat boil but bigger and if any pressure is applied it touched with a slight force by mistake it causes me to almost fully pause and wince my whole body in pain This sort of follicle boils / heat boils keeps happening on my chest area but this is new Please advice Thank you

My autistic child is unable to tell about any discomfort or pain. Due to frequent ear drain outs I showed to many  ENT but no where he co operated for ear cleaning. Then an ENT  detected adenoids and prescribed fluticasone nasal spray to my son. But due to lack of information I used 2 spray (one each nostril) twice a day for 4  days after that child started coughing and so I reduced dose one spray in one nostril twice a day. But still slowly coughing went so bad he was unable to sleep when nasal spray was used. Coughing took half an hour to normalise After 10 days he had  fever and cold and whenever I use nasal spray his fever rises. Augmentin was given for 3 days nothing seems working. Now I have stopped fluticasone. Fever is gone by  PCM. Please help me.  What should I do is it serious.

I have too much pain in the upper abdomen radiating towards the back and causing me lot of discomfort and sufferance from past two weeks. I am having severe GERD with esophagitis grade B and fatty liver. I do have reoccurrence of hiatus hernia. I am a Bariatric patient completed my sleeve gastrectomy in the year 2020. Bcoz of the GERD complexity I have got ineffective esophageal motility also in manometry. Doctor suggested me for a roux en y gastric bypass as options are limited for me with a long term PPI use which is presently not functioning on me. But suddenly from past two weeks I have severe stomach pain radiating towards the back and getting sticky stool which is not going easily from the WC. Yesterday I did USG whole abdomen and they found infiltration of Pancreas where they couldn't see the tail as it was obscured by bowel gas. Please suggest as stomach is in bad pain which is getting difficult to manage.

I have GERD for quite a long time due to lack of sleep (after pregnancy) and high stress level , anxiety and depression issues. Now anxiety are cured after taking proper treatment, still my gerd symptoms is there with even more severe symptoms. I'm unable to sleep coz of the discomfort from the throat to chest upper part. When I don't lat down on day time it decreases but I need to wakeup early to pack lunch for kids so I need to take nap and need to lay down  to make my baby take nap.. after napping it starts and it continues even at night . I adjusted my meal timing which is 2hrs before laying down. No luck.. I'm taking lots of home remedy like aloevera juice,amla juice, curd and curd rice for  almost all the meals.. even I decreased my food portion . Whenever I bend down to do chores, my stomach acid comes to throat and it gives burning sensation from chest to throat. Please guide me what to do . I have ready took syrup, proton inhibitor blockers alot for around 4years on and off.

My father is 80 years old and has long-standing diabetes. For the past one month, he has been suffering from a skin problem that started as small fluid-filled bubbles (blisters) on his hand. Over time, these blisters increased in number and gradually spread to other parts of his body, including the arms and legs. Many of the blisters become large, filled with clear fluid, and then burst on their own, leaving open wounds. Some areas have developed dark scabs, raw skin, and sores that are slow to heal. The surrounding skin often looks red, dry, and irritated. Because of his age and diabetes, we are worried about infection and delayed healing. This condition seems to be worsening despite basic care, and it is causing him discomfort. We would like to know: What could be the possible cause of these recurring blisters and wounds? I underwent Fissurectomy, Hemorrhoidectomy, Sphincterotomy, High-end Fistulectomy, and I&D of a perianal abscess on October 28 last year. Ghosal Sir. 2. Recently I have found type 3 dyssynergia with abnormal balloon test in anorectal manometry 3. I have been hearing growling sound from stomach and feeling gas all time even I eat or not left lower abdomen quardex.4. I have the cyst in right kidney. Urologist has told that there is no problem since it's not increasing much. Will it be considered as a problem and I am little bit desparate and all the test are normal. want to find out the root cause?

Hey, So my problem is chest pain on left side, which comes and goes within minutes sometime. But yesterday night I had a discomfort in my chest but I slept well but as soon I woke up I feel it's really terrible. I could feel the pain with hand movements so I run to emergency room immediately. There doctors measure my bp 140/85. They do ecg which was completely normal. Then they do an ABC test shows that I have low blood oxygen level 77.8 (at that particular time) and then they do a trop I test which shows results lesser than 0.01. As I had anxiety issues from years they told me to consult psychiatrist and suggested me to add petril beta 0.25 clonazepame as sos pill. But still I am feeling so scared of all what happened I am so anxious. Additional - I had cough and cold last night and maybe a bit fever too (I didn't measure but felt) What should I do in such situation?

Hi, my son had a fever for 4 days. I consulted a doctor here (we live outside India), and they said it was flu that would go away on its own, advising us to call only if the fever went above 104°F. After 3 days, the fever settled, and he no longer has a fever now. The only medicine I gave was paracetamol every 6 hours. On two nights, when his fever reached 103.5°F, I gave Mefta-P solution (7 ml) instead of paracetamol, which had been prescribed earlier by a doctor in India. Now my son is complaining of stomach pain and has diarrhea 5–6 times a day. Overall, he is fine—he is drinking fluids and eating small amounts of food—but he has stomach discomfort. The only medicine I have at home is Sporlac sachet, prescribed earlier by an Indian pediatrician. Should I give that for diarrhea? I just want to know the dosage—how many sachets and how to give it. I only keep medicines for emergencies, and since my son hasn’t had diarrhea in 2 years, I forgot the dosage. Your guidance would be helpful.

I have very serious problem related to my stomach and esophagus. For last 1 year I feel regular gas and acidity problem. Excessive gas production and gas release.. Acidity, excessive belching, undigested food coming out through esophagus. At night sometimes suddenly wake up from sleep feeling gas coming upward  in the chest. It feels like very much chest discomfort sometimes pain or even sometimes breathing issues. And at that moment I feel like high bp..it feels like heart attack or stroke something will happen..then if gas tablet is taken then its little better. Tried homeopathy and also Ayurvedic. In homeopathy. Initially was better but after 2 months of medication then it again started and more serious than earlier. As of now I'm taking Ayurvedic medicine for last 15 days. But I'm not seeing that much improvement. Please guide me. N.B- tested LFT, lipid profile, Upper abd USG ( all are ok somehow)
