Recently Answered Questions on Left side discomfort under ribs

I am having abdomen issues since march and firstly homoeopathy dr identified it as dyspepsia with gastritis and provided treatment which had few effect too. Then week before i went in allopathy and the dr diagnosed it as infection and provided antibiotic ornof and veloz 20 for gastritis issues. Before going to allopathic dr i am noticing some problem below the right rib near the curve of last bone ofrib and extending to some 1 or 1.5 inches downwards I feel as if there is some swelling though not really visible from outside and also when i push it inside i feel hardness but no pain. For confirmation i tried it on left side also but there is no such issues. I also told about swelling like thing to allopathic dr but i didn't got a response as if the dr thought it's normal. It's second day today after completing antibiotic treatment and he prescribed me veloz 20 for 5 more days but i feel symptoms repeating like little cramps, semi solid stool, Loud burps. Is that thing serious?no alcohol

Hi doctors, From yesterday after eating I am feeling pinching sensation in my stomach. Especially below the rib cage and top right region of the belly button to top right region of the belly button. Mostly above the belly button in the upper stomach. Sometimes it feels like lumps are there and while touching them it's painful like pinching. My stomach becomes very bloated when this pinching sensation is there. I felt lumps in the stomach lining when the stomach got bloated. I used to have breathlessness and anxiety because of gastritis. My tummy is bloated now. I have gastritis issues I am taking esomeparasole and sucral o Recently I had stopped sucral o But taking esomeparasole early morning and before dinner. Other medicines don't work and causes breathlessness. I am taking hot citric water in the empty stomach and again I started having tea. I m passing gas very often

I have a persistent feeling of something getting pulled in the middle of the stomach (between both ribs) with heavy breathing. This is going on for last 3 months. I have got Troponin test, Stress Echo, Chest X-ray, lungs test and ultrasound done with all ok reports. Have consulted a cardiologist, pulmonologist, radiologist as well but the problem still persists. To give a history, I have been taking Tolol XR25 OD for last few years for high BP. Have taken gastritis medicines like Pan-D for last 10-20-30 days as advised by the physician but it didn't help. Got blood and urine test done and all clinical parameters are all ok except the following: Bilirubin : 1.99 mg/dL, however SGOT/SGPT are ok Vitamin-D:55 nmol/ L Vitamin B-12: 177 pg/mL Apo A1: 95 mg/dL Apo B: 37 mg/dL Sometimes my hands shake. Also feel very lethargic all through the day with heavy/ laboured breathing. My attention is always on the stomach because of this. Pls advice.

I am waking up with a heavy left hand every day. The left palm feels heavy and mildly swollen. Recently when I was walking in the park I got itching on my left wrist on the palm side and there was one or two pimples which had swelling and was itchy. However even after the itching stopped, there is a small swelling on the wrist on the bottom of the palm.its a bit painful , causes numbness of my palm.i am able to use my wrist normally. When I press my palm on a hard surface I see 2  squishy bumps one small and one long one. I am wondering if it is a ganglion cyst or lymphedema. I was diagnosed with mild splenomegaly (13.7 cm ) 3 months back whose rib pains  are getting  better. Hematologist and rheumatologist  cleared me of any issues 1 month back. I don't have any other problems and go to office normally. Height 163 cm , weight is 70 kg and age 33, male.

Sir gid evening... i have pain in abdomen...i done many time my amylase test always under 130 sometimes it was 175 but.i done this since 20 monhths recent it was 104u/l...my lipass is always normal but begore one weak it was 74u/l and than down to 67u/l i am very apset.why my lipase goes frst tym high..i hvae back pain also nd constipation bloating...gas problem pain under  middle ribs while presinng..mean fulle abdomen disturb..i took lot of alcohal before some time my level back to normal..doctor says i have pacreatitis..but in sonography nothin..i have no attacks of pancreatitis till today...but since 10 months i have som pain in upper middle abdomen..before it was not.i hvae pain while pressing my abdomen.sounds from abdomen nd always totaly disturb abdomen please help..whats wrong wid me..will i cured in life...i am only 27 years old..

Hi doctor, In December 2017, i had normal pain in heart,then i went to hospital and they took ECG,2D ECHO and said its because of acidity...i used tablets for few days and stopped and then i went to another hospital...they did ECG,2D ECHO,TMT...i had my TMT exactly one year back...it is negative..the doctor said everything is normal and didnt prescribe me any tablets..but asked me to do yoga and meditation.Then recently in january 2019 i felt some pain in chest and went to cardiology hosp..then they did test for ECG and 2D ECHO and said there is no issue..and gave me tablets for acidity..but from last 15 days...I am having sharp pain in my heart that comes and go...which lasts for 1-2 seconds..even last day in the morning i had this sharp pain in heart and below left ribs..I was soo worried that it might be pain because of heart. daily i am having this fear of heart attack...is that sharp pain really because of acidity doctor?..i am attaching ECG and 2D ECHO of jan 2019 doctor

I have diagnosed with H-Pylori infection & Gastritis in March 2018 and also after some time doctor diagnosed that it's IBS. After that in every 2-3 months I got throat infections or ulcers regularly. For that I took medicine. Now from last 15 days I am feeling heaviness and some type of contraction on upper right side on back may be just behind the liver, near back side rib cages and it's feel downward some time. Only feels maximum when sit on the bed leaning forward don't feel much when working or sit on a chair And if I rub this place it feels a little comfortable for some time and again same. I want to know the cause of it can be diagnosed through ultrasound. Is it related to liver or because of any muscle strain or due to anxiety, or stomach ulcers as every time just think about it. Please help me out..

Hii doctor.I am having pains near my heart From 5 months. i then went to homeopathy hospital.doctor said me that its because of acidity and anxiety and gave me tablets. later i got pain in both the chests and also below ribs..and numbness in hands.then i went to cardiology specialist in outlr area. he did ECG test and 2D echo test and said it is because of anxiety and trival mitral valve regulation.doctor gave me two tablets namely esomac D 40 and Etizola beta 0.25mg. now from last 6 days i m getting pain in my arm pits in my thigs and in the back side of chest. the pain usually comes for every 30 minutes and stays for 4-5 seconds. can i know why all these are happening. any suggestions doctor. i am also attaching 2D echo report and ECG report. please do check and say if there is any problem

The problem started 4-5 weeks back where I felt pain below rib cage on left side of stomach and continuous burps. I visited MBBS doctor and she suggested antacid syrup and pepterd capsule. There was not 100% relief so I did Sonography, kidney, liver, pancreas and CBC report which came out to be normal. So in the end I visited gastro entrologist he suggested endoscopy which I did. Attaching the report for reference. He gave me one tablet Nexpro Fast-40 and one syrup Gaviscon, tablet to take twice in a day for 2 weeks and then one time 2 weeks empty stomach and syrup 10ml three time after food. It's been just 2 days I started this medicine there is relief but not 100%. I sometime feel light pain and stomach burn (light). Is the medicine appropriate for the report attached or do I need to do something else? Is there anything to worry about

Hello Doctors, Good evening to all, I am having pain in the upper left abdomen below ribs. this pain starts after some times of walking ..or standing for long..my stomach feels like full of air..but nothing comes out.. this is happening from last 1 year..i went to doctor he told me to.do sonography but all came normal.. expect very slight swelling in liver..he said it is okay not a problem..may be gas..he gave me some medicine for gas.. but i am still not feeling okay..this pain is very bad..im not having proper stools..i have to take pet safa churn only then i get some relief..but my pain is not getting cure.. recently 2 months ago i again had medical from my company including sonography..they said all okay including sonography.. pls Doctors help me..why is this pain ? can jt be cancer..pls help me Doctors im worried..i don't drink and smoke..only thing is im overweight..im 94 kg..and according to my height my wt shud be 76.. pls help me Doctors thanks
