My father is diabetic having type 2 diabetes and taking meds for the same apart from others like for BP, diabetic neuropathy, etc. His urine ACR was around 385 in Dec 2023 but recently when we checked it came as 1300 something. I am worried whether it is related to kidney problem. In December, we did his complete health tests including lipid, KFT, LFT, eGFR, etc and almost everything was normal. In May last year, his whole abdomen USG also showed kidneys as normal except some cystic sac which when shown to our diabetician, she said everything is normal. So what can be the reason for sudden spike in the ACR in 3 months in spite of normal sugar and BP?

Hiv + for 20 years(on daily medicine, no issues here). Used medicines for lowering creatine when his creatine value is 2 for 3 years. Just 3 months back his creatine shot up to 10.5 and hospitalized because of too much weakness. Now from 3 months he is in dialysis weekly twice. Weight 59 height 5'8 .. Blood HB- 11 current and same even before. Urine output is fantastic as before.On dailysis day, he becomes more weak than others, as per technician they are giving him low volume of dialysis. Is there any low volume hemodialysis alternate to regular Hd dialysis?. No PD please.

I have given blood test for egfr where gfr is 121 and I have given the urine test also where in urine report there is albumin(+ +) and sugar(+) what's this pls say

My father with 70 years old has been suffering from CKD with diabetes & hypertension for more than 5 years. Now his creatine level is 5.2.  but he doesn't feel any symptoms  & suger bp are in controlled. We consulted nephrologist. Some doctors recommend dialysis but some doesn't recommend. I want to know if one doesn't not feel  any symptoms with high creatine level (5.2). Then daylosis is necessary?

My wbc count is 16.3x10^3 .doctor told to admit he will give some injections but I asked for tables he gave antibiotics for three days .what is the meaning of 16.3 x10^3.he told I had mild hydrouteronephrosis so I got infection should I take antibiotics through iv

My father had routine tests,along with kft : urea is normal, creatinine came 1.29 and gfr 62,other parameters of kft is normal,,,he is non diabetic, non smoker non alcoholic, he has hypertension but he takes amlo 5, for which the pressure is maintained at 130/80 to 138/88( varies during the day) . He is having vitamin b 12 and vitamin d deficiency from the reports, all other routine tests like lipid profile, lft, tsh, ecg are fine Is there anything to be concerned about creatinine and gfr report?

I have a sudden bout of breathlessness last night ( laboured kind of breathing) SPO 2 levels are 97-98. I went for Certain tests. ECGs were normal and trop I too. My bicarbonate came at 19.78. A month ago my bio carbonate level was 23. Is it acidosis ? I have been feeling fatigued for whole day.
