CKD patient on dialysis twice a week. But continued black stool for more than 15 days 5 unit transfusion already done Gastro consulted and done endoscopy and colonoscopy but no source of bleeding seen as per gastro doctor Now I want give prescription to stop black stool or change the color of stool My mother not having iron supplements So plss prescribe a good medicine to heal intestine and stop bakck stool.

My son serum creatinine is 0.31 against range of 0.7-1.2 referred by Healthians . Healthians shown it as concern in their report . What is the range of serum creatinine for 8 years old ? Shall I go for retesting from reputed lab ?

Here is the attached Report, Can someone please verify if it is all right. Also, she has been previously diagnosed with Brain cancer and has been operated with medication still ongoing. Currently she has been given a medication ( cyclosporine 100mg) after which the doctor recommended and Rft test. Please see if there is any significant malfunction.

My mother Aged 58, diabetic patient was suffering from fever for almost 1.5 months. Test reflected that she was having some blood infection and with medication that has also gone. But after few days again she started to have fever and shivering. She also started pain in her back in one side and test shown that her creatinine and Urea level is high. CT scan doesn't reflected anything but blood culture is showing infection in her one kidney. She is on antibiotics through veins twice a day and initially she started to vomit after medication. Now she has become weak and getting itching all over her body. She has lost food appetite. Please suggest future course of action and this antibiotics course has only reduced her pain nothing more than that. As mentioned above she has started to develop some other problems.

My mother is 47 years old and her Creatinine level is 1.52 mg/dl, Potassium - 4.6 meg/L and Vitamin D3 -19.58 ng/ml. She's prediabetic. We've consulted a nephrologist and she's under his medications. I wanted to understand what the doctor wrote in the attached prescription. Moreover, she also has Anechoic Cyst measuring 15.9 mm in upper pole of her right kidney and also a nabothian cyst of size 11mm in her cervix. Are these cysts matter of concern? Thank You!

Hi, My father is having hypertension and chronic kidney disease and taking medicine for the same. However in last week he diagnosed with chest infection and having weakness. Our general physician prescribe clarithromycin 250 twice a day.. But from last 2 day he is feeling difficulties in passing urine. So is that effect of antibiotics clarithromycin or any other drug prescribed. Is clarithromycin causes bad effect on kidney

My mother Aged around 58 was suffering from fever since last 1.5 months and initially her blood test shown infection in her blood and urine culture etc. Was normal. With antibiotics her infection has gone but still she was suffering from fever atleast for few hrs. In a day. Last week she started facing pain in one side of her back and her blood test reflected increase in urea and creatinine level. Her ultrasound, CT Scan and blood test reflected problem of PUS in one kidney and she was put on medicine but she was not getting any relief initially infact with medicine immediately she is suffering from nausea and abdomen pain.But after few days she become stable to some extent with ongoing antibiotics medicines course but now she has loss food appetite and she is not able to digest food. She has to vomit to get relief and she has lost energy, just lying on bed. Her condition is not improving despite of medication. Kindly guide me for future the course of action.

I have stone on both my kidneys, my recent blood test my creatinine level is 1.03.is my creatinine high or low. On my research 1.3 above creatinine is kidney damage. Am worried? Is 1.03 different from 1.3 in test
