Hi There is no way to exactly say how many years you will survive with your own Kidney. But if you prevent any urine infection in future by being on long term antibiotic prophylaxis, your kidney functioning should be fine for atleast next 6 to 8 years. Dont worry about the GFR. Just follow the creatinine values once n every 3 months.
Next Steps
Be on regular Nephrologist follow up Have to find out the cause for Hydronephrosis (whether genetic problem or bladder problem or urethra problem) Be on antibiotic prophylaxis to prevent UTI
Health Tips
Follow Kidney protective diet Decrease Non veg intake Healthy lifestyle Regular aerobic exercise
