I am a 20 year old. I have been recently diagnosed with somatoform pain disorder. I am currently taking pharmacotherapy for it. My presenting symptoms were sharp neck and shoulder pain and back pain. My symptoms have reduced in intensity. But I have a fear that when I stop treatment,  the symptoms will return. My physician has told me that slowly symptoms will go away, but whenever I google about this disorder, it always says that it can't be cured, just managed. As a psychiatrist,  have you encountered patients with complete resolvement of symptoms?

I am going through a tough time both in personal and professional life. I hardly get any sleep, always anxious and stressed. Actually I can't even remember a time when I had a proper sleep. From past couple of months I have noticed that I am forgetting small small things - names of people, movie name I have watched so many times, what I did on a particular day etc; I am not quite sure whom to consult. A psychiatrist or a psychologist? Sometimes I feel my head is about to explode and have a splitting head ache. Kindly advise, Thank you.

Recently my Close friend expired I unable to forget him, unable to concentrate on other works how to over come this.

My partner (23F) has been very anxious lately and it is affecting her health. She isn't able to sleep well at night. She says that she feels dizzy sometimes during the day as well. She is feeling weak. She is having a constant body temperature of 99°F. She doesn't even feel hungry, she has to force herself to eat. She is also having a bad stomach now, loose motions. Is this all happening because of anxiety? What can be done to make her feel better?

I have been suffering from depression and several anxiety attacks recently but it's been the same since 2019. I want to get better but I'm confused. I'm living alone in Bangalore which is adding to it all. Any help/guidance is appreciated.

Hi i m taking regular BP medicine i.e. Starpress XL as well telma 40 from the last one year. But from the last one month my BP is not control it is elevated and around 145/100 . May be it's due to the anxiety of Corona pandemic. Due to the corona I m very much in stress and in in fear. I have also consulted Psychiatric as well. He prescribed me Nexito 10 MG, Propronalol 40 MG as as well Clonazapam 0.5 . Now I am not focusing in any thing and always in a fear of corona. Kindly help me and also suggest why my BP is elevated. Is this due to stress/fear of corona and what should I do now. Now sudden panic attack also I faced many times. Pls suggest ASAP I am also enclosing the prescription. Kindly suggest
