The consultant psychiatrist has recommended ECT to help speed up the recovery of a patient with acute schizophrenia. In my research most articles have mentioned temporary memory loss. Some articles have hinted that in many cases the memories don't come back and patients might experience difficulty with cognitive activities like memorising and focusing in the future. I'd be grateful if a specialist can throw some light on what is the ground reality of these claims.

A doctor who can help me to understand my emotions and can possibly train me to balance them without hurting other persons, who r attached to me.

Last yr conceived after 7yrs by ivf. In Feb concved nd lockdown  in March. Till May end I ws fiine but as soon as my husband started going to work.I was cleaning my home always.when he used to come from work start mopping floor sanitizing everything..used to get very anxious.many time start to fight or cry loudly.i took bath for 3_4times a day.always wash hands.then I consulted psychiatrist and also took counseling nd med.in Oct I had my baby.happy but not enjoying fully since then I couldn't continue my T/t.I remain tense, anxious..always wash hand after touching anything or wash hands many times while doing any work.i have damaged my hands by washing bt cldn't control it.me nhusband had covid in April but my baby was fine.she was with my parents that was the time of some relief.i thought will be fine now.. Covid  gone bt soon I recovered.but now i m tensed for my daughter.same handwash  cntinu.i m very tense always remain anxious for her always wash all clothes nd hands nd damge them

Sir i have been suffering from pain in throat due to an unknown cause did every other investigation from mri to endoscopy the pain is very much real and it's too much I have not been able to kneel my neck forward to study. I had been prescribed etizolam . I wanted to knw if I could take etizolam life long I'm 23 now. I tried to stop it but I just start it because the pain or else I end up depression. Pls sir let me knw if I could 2mg etizolam on daily basis thank u

From past few days i feel like my left arm is a bit heavy and sometimes light than the right one. Same with my left leg. I am also sleep deprived. I just recovered from typhoid. And I develop anxiety and stress very often. I take tension about every small symptoms my body. Is it in my btaunga that i develop symptom purposely?

I want help as I was diagnosed with Obessive Compulsive Disorder at the age of 17. My parents took me to a psychiatry I was under medication at that time after taking medication I used to feel little relief but after some days I stopped taking medication and that was my bigggest mistake now I am facing the same symptoms I used to feel it's hard to live with ocds symptoms.I request to please help me and give me suggestions to overcome this disorder.

I am currently taking nexito 10 mg for my social anxiety and depression. I am currently preparing for medical entrance test but i cannot concentrate on my studies. A friend suggested modalert 100 for that focus and concentration but that makes me feel more anxious and my heart beats faster.
