I've been on Atomoxetine for more than 6 months now, currently at a 50mg dose along with Bupropion 300 mg and my symptoms have not improved at all. My psychiatrist is not trying out stimulants even though they have shown to work and have a much better effect. He expressed concerns about addiction, which I understand I share this concern too. But my quality of life is horrible right now, and I have not been able to work in a long, long time and I'm falling behind schedule by months. This is causing financial stress too. Is the concern about addiction reasonable even though my quality of life might improve significantly? Or should I consult with another psychiatrist, who perhaps has a better understanding of ADHD? I am consulting with a clinical psychologist, but there is only so much that can be achieved by therapy when I have almost zero motivation everyday. Any advice on this is appreciated. Thank you.

I'm a PhD student at Indian Institute of technology, Kanpur. I'm having very serious anxiety issues, not being able to work. I need online counselling. What should I do? How much does it normally cost? Any help will be really appreciated. Thanks in advance

I depend on Antidepressants. 8 years ago i suffered from serotonin syndrome twice. After that if my doctor continue medication, then i suffer from physical pain(Symptoms like serotonin syndrome) and if not then i suffer mentally. My life becomes hell now. No private Doctor has time to research on complicated case and bother with one patient when other patients with standard treatment procedures are standing in row. At Govt hospital they don't even bother to listen. I want to live because if i kill myself then no one to take care of my family. Is there any Psychiatrist who wants to take my case?

Hello doctor My grandfather's younger brother has two sons: one of which lives in delhi and younger son in Mumbai But the wife of the younger son is very cruel and does not love my grandfather also she brainwashed his husband about his father. My grandfather is a very straight forward person but due to all these he has tried two suicide attempts and I am not able to see all this happening please help me out with the situation

My periods are regular I used olazapine 5mg olapin plus and paramil tablets for 6 days I have side effects weight gain etc my psychatrist suggested me to stop the medications after using this medicines I didn't get periods it's been 50 days is this tablets stops my periods permanently

Sometimes I have a problem of not falling asleep when I'm worried that I won't be able to fall asleep or when I have something important to do the next day. I'm already taking clonazepam 0.5mg and traxodone 50mg but they don't work. Is this a disorder? What's this disorder called and how do I cure this?

I feel my own heartbeat when m laying down..ecg is normal.i m on ciplar tab.since 2.5 month.before i feel some jerk in body or in hand when i try to sleep in night..some vibration in hand when i wake up but now it stopped when feeling of own heart beat is still what can i do

Hey i had taken proxy cr 12.5 . Trazonil 50 mg for near about 12 days.. Since then my vision has become hazy and blurry... It's already more than one month that i had stopped taking antidepressants. And i had visited to several eye doctors they all say there is no wrong with eyes.. But i still have these problems.. Please tell whether these things occur after taking antidepressants... I m suffering from last more than a month..

I had a situation where a bit of food got stuck in my throat. I could still breathe but it caused a tickle in my airways and I just couldn't free it and it started making me gag loads. Eventually it went. But ever since then I've had a huge fear of it happening again that it's caused me extreme anxiety. The phobia has now developed into not just that happening again, but now almost any sensation in my throat causes instant anxiety to kick in. As I'm scared of anything that need me to clear my throat because my gag reflex has because so sensitive and I just can't cough anything out because it causes me to gag and the idea of getting a chest infection or anything throat related gives me extreme anxiety. Also, it's impacted me on eating. I barely eat anything now because I have this constant fear and I can feel that I'm hungry but I'm too scared to eat and I fear that I'm damaging my body by not eating but don't know what to do to fix it and get back to normal life again?

I feel my own heartbeat when i am laying down.i can easily feel my heartbeat strong when i kept hand on chest...i also feel pulse in my back of head and feet and every point of sensation...ecg get normal..cardilogist said it is anxiety..i am currently on ciplar tab since 2.5 month..i also feel my heartbeat on slow rate about 62 bpm also
