Do antidepressants work or they are just placebo ? Is escitalopram a safe antidepressant ? Does it work for anxiety ?

Hi I have small kids ..I have excessive domestic activities at home to address so I feel extremely tired when I don't sleep properly I get bad thoughts like suicidal.. what to do...

From past few months my mother is facing following issues. 1.low appetite 2.not reacting to happiness and sad 3.No interactive conversation . 4.sits ideally will not talk anything untill v ask something. 5.At the same time she remembers everything every place, person and incidents she didn't forget anything. What is this condition called? And how she wil be recovered and whom to consult .

I am 29 years old and I don't know why I feel very low and depressed. I sleep 10-12 hours and still feel exhausted. I can't concentrate on anything... What should I do?

Due to some personal issues i am too stressed and depressed, i get anger very easily. I dont feel like to be around people. If anybody says anything in a normal way as well i get frustrated too easily and i start getting pain in my chest and my head gets heavy. I am scared of any attachments with people. Sometimes i will be okay and suddenly i get frustration and its like too high I start breathing heavily my body starts getting numb. I feel like my head is spinning. In my past i got too attached with one person and that person has left my side. No contact nothing because of that maybe i am scared of any new attachments. If somebody starts being caring towards me i get frustration and i am just not able to explain myself.My mood changes in a second from being normal to frustrated and immediately i get severe headache and chest pain and numbness. In such situation i stay silent for a while and try to calm myself down.Kindly suggest what can be done and what would be the possible reason.

Hi Am mother of two babies. Elder one is 3 years and younger one is 2.5 months. At the time of second baby delivery the baby was having hypoglycemia and it got sorted. The baby is very healthy now having umbilical hernia which is sorting out. In our tradition we used to look at baby's birth time, in that he had balarishta dosha which is not good for babies interms of health or anything can happen according to dosha. We did dosha parihara. But my mind is always thinking negative. Please 🙏 i request to prescribe remedies to come out of this negativity.

On 2nd March suddenly after gym I got a feeling of death like I'm going to die,everything started feeling unreal, rushed to doctor they checked bp it was 120/80 and they told to get rest for several days I got small attacks of dp/dr and electric shock feeling, getting foggy eyes and no excitement for anything. Got the ecg done on 3rd March doctor told sinus arrhythmia and told its normal. I am suffering of this. what is going on help me, I feel unreal and detached and I fear I will forget everything

Sir my in laws wants to divorce me bcoz of lamatrigene...they claim it is for bi polar disorder only...but doctor give me it for depression...plz help me this matter...what can i do...

Sir lamatrigene is prrscribed for depression also...my inlaws mentally abuse me that it is a dangerous drug...and no psychatrist in this whole world can give lamatrigene for depression...that doctors degree should b cancelled...plz answer yes or no...lamatrigene is used in depression also ...

Sir can psychatrist prescribe lamatrigene for depression/ anxiety/ migranes...etc etc...bcoz every common man says it is only for bi polar...plz give some strong evidences that lamatrigene is prescribed for depression also...
