My father had a piles operation in the month of September. After that some urinary retention issue aroused, doctor was consulted again, cystoscopy was done along with all other tests. Doctor soad him to take medicine for 2 months and the prob will be solved. He regularly took medicine for 2 months but he felt the condition was not improving and he got a disease which is incurable. He started having negative thoughts. We again consulted the doctor and he was admitted again cystoscopy, xray, ultrasound everything was done & report turn out to be good. He got more demotivated hearing about it. He does not want to go for check up anywhere else feeling he will not get cure. Doctor feels everything is normal in his body but he is not ready to believe that he is normal. He keep on saying that nobody understand me! Doctor make fun of my situation so there is nothing to be explained and sone further. So what can be done in this situation? Any help will be a great support

My mother is living in her own delusional world where everything else doesn't matter, she thinks something is talking to her & she keeps talking to them 24/7 like she is talking to someone in real & she does all household chores but always she is not mentally present with us She suffered miscarriage at 2002 after that I was born in 2004 I have 2 younger siblings but my mom thinks her first child is still alive & someone stolen him but unfortunately that's not true & also my relatives mistreated her a lot when we were young so i think she is traumatized because of all this I don't know what should I do

Though very late , I have started experiencing out of mind kind of situation since 2019. I am hardly able to concentrate on any thing, some time unable to understand what anybody is telling me. Most of the time I feel I am not in present moment. My kind keep on thinking. I also feel problem in decision making for even trivial daily matters. I feel problem in remembering. Sometimes I feel my behavior is not appropriate to the some circumstances. I fear in opening up any dialouge or initiating any talk with new people.  Once I use be a good orator but now I am most of the time unable to speak properly. Lots more

I'm 19 years old student from my childhood I have anxiety I get so worried about something that isn't even matter I keep thinking about my behaviour with others or something I said or something someone else said to me all day & every time I cannot stop overthinking, my mind keeps running all time thinking about past & mentally always I'm talking to myself, I don't like being alone but mostly when I go out & meet someone I feel drained so i mostly stay alone it's getting worse day by day my sleep schedule is very bad that's why I'm not able to focus on my studies I get good marks but still always fear so much before my results I don't know what should I do

I am going through a very bad phase of my life, severe mental trauma of my recent breakup, life has become a living hell - difficulty breathing, anxiety and panic attacks, lack of concentration and sleep, anger issues, I am really confused am I suffering from Depression, Bipolar disorder or something else? at this age I cannot express my feelings with anyone. Need help with medications or whatever that calms me.

I have a BP problem, and for that, I take medicine stamlo trio 40/12.5. With medicine, my BP remains normal. After unsuccessful attempts at SSRI, my dr gave me duloxetine at first, but only after the first dosage my bp was 140/98 at avg. I tried 3 to 4 times, but becoz of high bp, i quit. Now, I was given venlafaxine but after having a first dosage of 75 mg, it gave me a burning sensation, and my bp was around 140/98 at avg. Now, should I give it a few more days, or should I switch to desvenlafaxine?
