Do methylphenidate or atomoxetine lead to weight gain? How common is weight change as a side effect for individuals taking these medications?

For the past five years, I've been struggling with a habit that leaves me feeling regretful every morning. I find myself unable to control it, and it's starting to impact my daily life. Unfortunately, I don't have the means to seek professional help or consultation. What could be causing this behavior, and are there any medications or treatments that might be helpful?

Dear Doctors, I have taken Clonafit Beta Tablet prescribed by a doctor at Practo for my Anxiety and fear issues. But few days ago, I took a blood test, it shows my Serum Triglycerides is 300. My age is just 20. I have a decent diet & lifestyle. Is it possible that this medicine caused it? If so how to prevent it, I need this tablet, but Triglycerides shouldn't go high. Help. Perhaps reduce the dose.

Hello Doctors, Kindly help me understand how to deal with the withdrawal symptom of sleeplessness when stopping solian. I have been diagnosed with Psychosis 8 years back and been taking solian since then. Taking solian 50 mg since last few years. I thought of stopping it and took it on alternate days for 1 month in Apr. This month took it once in 3 or 4 days for 15 days. But suddenly am finding it difficult to sleep since last few days. Continuously for more than 4 days, didn't get proper sleep. Should I follow a different approach for stopping solian? How to get back my normal sleep daily?

I was prescribed Vipca 10 by a Neurologist to help resolve disturbed sleep issues due to a traumatic experience which happened three years ago. Within a week of taking the medicines, I started getting palpitations. Resting heart rate went to about 88 bpm. Does Vipca 10 (Vortioxetine) cause these side effects. Can a psychiatrist please shed some light?
