I just want to know that why psychiatrists are saying nowadays that depression becomes alright on it's own in 1 year in all cases. I myself know people who are suffering from years without remission.

I have been suffering from anxiety  from past 4 years and using medicines (sertraline). I feel better after using the meds. After the doctor advice, 2 months back I have stopped the meds. I was ok for 2 months after stopping the meds. But from 2 days I am feeling very anxious and I feel like I am going to die. Do I need to continue the medicines life long? Is there any better treatment?

When I was diagnosed with depression. I was given Nexito20 with clodon.5. After one month It was stopped. I'm not alright completely. Can anyone plz tell me that can it be taken for long time. Does it help in treatment of depression? Does stopping it cause problems with recovery?

I'm taking meds for depression for 5 years and only 80% alright. I have been to 3 psychiatrists and psychologists. I thought of consulting new psychiatrists. I consulted two psychiatrists. They told me that depression becomes alright on it's own in 1 year, u are having dysthymia. Does that mean that a person who doesn't become alright becomes dysthymic?? It's chronic mild depression, he said.What is treatment resistant depression then?. I myself know many patients who have not recovered after years of treatment. Are they dysthymic now?What logic is this? I have been consulting many psychiatrists online, everyone just tell me something new. It's a request plz tell me what percentage of patients with suicidal depression become alright acc. to practice and research. Plz. I will live my life on it's own but atleast tell me it's possible or not to completely recover??

I have a metal ceramic tooth . Is it dangerous to gmundergo the MRI of my brain ? I feel some discomfort in head.

Im on Diva od 500 and risdone ls which is helping me with my bipolar.but i still have adhd symptoms so can in take inspiral 20 mg with these medications???

During the entire day, there is a point when I feel worried about my future and What I'm going to do...I even tried Counselling therapy with a counsellor in my college but it isnt working... Could you please prescribe a medicine or tablet pills which can prevent anxiety in me?

I am hesitating to put forward any ideas that I have in my mind at my workplace. Also, I am hesitating when I am with my girlfriend. This low confidence in me is always the reason why I am not able to take our intimacy any further. And she is upset about this. Also, my professional life is not going too well. Is there some therapy or some way to solve this problem??
