Actually, this began a few days ago. My mother can't sleep much, even if she tries to. Little noise like doors creaking or someone's walking can disturb her sleep. She has not much stress or depression-like things, though she can't complete her sleep. She also practices yoga and meditation, but even that didn't help. So Doctor, what should we do to improve her situation?

I've been extremely anxious since I was 12 years old. But back in August 2017, I slipped into major depression. I couldn't sleep for days and didn't want to do anything. Everything seemed to be a burden and in November 2017 I was diagnosed by a psychiatrist for Dysthymia. He prescribed me Fluoextine and Dosulepin. It really helped in improving my everyday mood. Finally I could perform everyday work. But I still can't learn anything easily (before that I could understand and learn in just one or two reads). I keep forgetting things all the time. I lose track while talking and forget what I just said or heard. When I told my doctor he increased the dosage. But nothing has improved. It's crucial time in my life. I am preparing for UPSC CSE and my career depends upon it. I need help !

I think I have this disorder from my childhood, also I have OCD on so many things, thoughts and people, always envious towards anyone including loving and caring persons, no control, can't focus on anything, learn anything, dull headed, have no clear picture or plan about future, not married yet, never felt happiness, can't understand people, don't respect and love anyone, no feeling of sympathy about anyone, only sucks happiness from people, I am not a human being rather a deamon, too many bad thoughts or wish against happy people, no confidence, no sense of self, can't decide anything and forgetting everything which is so frustrating, too much anger, hatred. Please I don't want to live like a deamon, I know I am too weak and so many many fears are there, fear of being alone, being hatred, death, please I want to live. I was facing anxiety and depression 3 4 months earlier and I consulted a Doctor through practo who suggested me nexito 10 for 10 days, it worked but now

My friend seems to feel that she is into love addiction and recently she has been thinking of divorce due to marital issues. But she thinks she is okay to return to her spouse because she fears being alone. She read somewhere about love addicts and feels that she has many related symptoms. Is there such an addiction and if yes how can she overcome this addiction? Recently she has been very indecisive about everything in life specially with relationships.
