From last three weeks burning urine sensation after urinating, burning sensation in anal area or feet , loose motion after start medicine.urine report is not normal, blood appear in report.usg report is ok.

Hi Consulted online through Practo as well as visiting offline at Max. But, my father's Urine issue still persist. Please double check the medicine and tests prescribed. Please Let me know if treatment is in right direction or anything missing here. He is on Catheter now. Thanks

I had a positive urine culture and was prescribed Amoxicillin 500mg, 3 times a day for 20 tablets (approximately 6–7 days). After completing the full course, I repeated the urine culture, and it still showed positive for the same bacteria. My doctor confirmed that the bacteria is sensitive to amoxicillin, so they prescribed the same antibiotic again — another 20 tablets, to be taken 3 times a day. However, this time, I have no symptoms at all (no burning, pain, frequency, etc.). I felt symptoms during the first infection but not now. I’m seeking a second opinion to understand: Is it necessary to treat again even though I have no symptoms? Could this be a case of asymptomatic bacteriuria that doesn’t require treatment? Should I consider other tests (e.g. ultrasound, kidney function, or further urine testing) if the culture stays positive? Are there any risks in taking another course of antibiotics when I'm not symptomatic?

When I eat oily or spicy food cloudy urine comes. Any free prescription. I am unemployed and poor. Any solution.

My 4.5-year-old son says he feels discomfort in his private parts. No pain or burning sensation, but he says it becomes hard sometimes while breathing and sometimes feels like it goes into his lower stomach. He crying for that, frequently touched,Is this normal or a concern?

One hour after ejaculation my stomach gets filled with gas and burning sensation feeling inside bladder area and penis. There is no pain while urination and no discharge from penis. Getting urge to pee frequently after ejaculation. If I take any gas medicine or somehow gas releases out then only I get relief from burning discomfort. Facing this problem from many months.

From December 2024, I had symptoms such as pain and burning after urination, burning after ejaculation, difficulty starting urine and intact burning randomly if I sit or stand for long. The burning feels like it affects my thighs as well. Went to multiple urologist. None helped until i went to a new one and got diagnosed with E. coli in semen. This was already 6 months now. I got prescribed IV antibiotics for 2 weeks twice daily and after a month now, there is no E. coli left in my semen culture. But still completing the entire dose of antibiotics, I am half relieved. The symptoms comes and goes. The intensity of these symptoms after the antibiotics are a little less but the pattern is same. Infact the burning which starts remains for hours causing discomfort which is sometimes more, sometimes less. The urologist prescribed me another 2 set of antibiotics namely bactrim ds and doxt sl 100 for 2 weeks along with a nerve medication and alpha blocker. I want to know is it curable?

Patient of 20 yr Male has been developed Sudden facial swelling & Foamy urine and test has been done suggested by doctors & Diagnosed with hyperuricemia treated with tablets for 1 month...KFT was normal . Responded well with medication. Then upto 1 year allergies reactions continues like cold  sneezing ignored them assuming as minor disease or any allergy. After 1 year random blood test KFT was done and Serum creatinine was 5 mg/dl ... kidney biopsy has been done suggested of anti PLA2R Membranous Nephropathy with acute  renal tubular damage then blood test of Anti PLA2R was negative. Treatment - Immunosuppressive Drugs has been started Mycophenolate sodium & Steroid but no huge improvement. Kindly provide your guidance for further directions of treatment.
