Hello Doctor, This question is for my brother aged 18, one fine day we randomly found out that he has a high BP reading of 140/70 or 150/70. We did almost all the tests that doctor said like ECG, EKG, ULTRASOUND ABDOBEN, RENAL DOPPLER, TSH, ECHO, URINE METANEPHRINE, SERUM tests However all of them were normal, and the doctor said he may have essential hypertension, and gave medicine amlong ,2.5mg initally, but bp reading didn't go down, so he was given a higher dose of 5mg, I got a bp monitor today, and in the morning bp was 130/78, however in the evening it was 147/70. I am really worried for him, because he is very young, he has been exercising regularly these days and also has a healthy bmi. What could be the reason behind the same, and also what can be done to lower the Bp.

Hi i am male 37.why i always feel pain in my left hand pain does not feel on bones it feels from inside. It luks like my hand became heavy this pain persit for a min or so then it became normal sometimes i feel pain in my left hand thumb or some time my finger start shivering middle finger or index finger are these related to heart plz suggest

My husband undertook ECG and 2d echo tests as part of health package in Manipal hospitals. I am attaching ECG and Doppler study here. I The Doppler study shows mitral flow e<a and tr jet is 2.7m/s with 30mm gradient. Details can be found in the image. The residing doctors did not alert us of anything wrong but after coming home we recognised these anamolies.  Also he used to have BP for years and took medication before but after lifestyle changes and exercise routine it is under control do he stopped with the medication for the past month and it is still under control without medicine. He also has high cholesterol ( total 222, hdl 39 and ldl 159). Please help us with next steps. Should we get angio done?
