Heart Problems & Remedies

It has been 3 weeks since I last smoked a cigarette. I smoked for 5 years , 5-6 cigarettes a day. I took my bp two times in the last one week. It has been consistent at consistent around 140/82. Is this hypertension stage or a withdrawal symptom of smoking cessation? Please advise.

I have taken a lipid profile test and report is enclosed below. Currently I'm having amlong 5 mg in the morning as suggested by a doctor based in delhi. Also he had suggested two months ago to discontinue medication for cholesterol tonact 10 mg &. aquazide 12.5 mg for Hypertension (doctors reasoning- overdose of chemicals and on report based on master health check up ) which I have been having for four years. I'm maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I walk/run for an hour minimum 4-5 days a week. Also took part in two 10 km marathons and a 5 km marathon recently. I would be very grateful if you can have a look at my medical reports( current month Report plus June report) and suggest future course of action if any. Total cholesterol : 215 HDL 41 LDL 151 Triglycerides 155

I feel like fatigue or sometime body loose issue like at that time I am not to able to do some small work..after joining gym..why I feel..i dont have any medical issue exp cholesterol...this problem due to cholesterol?? Age 24 height 178 cm n weight 72 kg. Ldl 108 triglycerides 152 hdl 39..thx feelings loose not all time it's occur sudden and than goes itself...like for 1/2 an hour or for 1 hour like...I dont have any bed habit like smoking n drinking...Thx plz help

Hi Sir my sister is physically fit and doesn't have any other problems. She suddenly fainted one day and took 15 minutes to come to consciousness. This happens once in 3 to 4 months. She thinks it's low BP and takes salt water everyday. She has synus problem. Could you let us know what kind of problem it is. Will it have major impact on her health. What should be remedy for the problem?

My mother had a heart attack and her LVEF is 25%. I am attaching doctors prescription and the Nt-proBNP test result. She has diabetes. To control blood sugar we have been advised to take tablet (Zoryl) twice morning/night. We will get a sugar test done in next few days to measure the results. But Sir, her NT-ProBNP levels are high .. so do she need to take separate medicine to bring the level down ? Is there any serious threat because of high NT-ProBNP level ? Please can you give some advise.

My father 66 years diagnoised with bp 170/100 due to sleep disorder(shortness of breath during sleep), asthma since 2 yrs. He is using cpap since 1 year and results were not productive.medication started with sartel 40, cinod 10, rousuvas, forocot, montair. For few months bp was in control 130/80, 140/90. Over a period of time bp has increased and medications were corrected to morning: sartel 80, ivabard 5mg, ctd 6.25mg evening: sartel 80, ivabard 2.5mg, rousvas 10 in the night. results were little better but now bp is not getting controlled again.Morning at 6 he feels active, normal but after taking medicines he feels uncomfortable(dizziness, uneasy and elevated bp). Bp comes down at 1pm post lunch. he feels comfortable with night dosage.cpap reports showed AHI count is in control. I feel the quality of sleep is lagging for him he gets repeated cough with cpap machine and does not get a productive sleep(might be due to asthma or dry air of the machine which irritates him not sure).

I feel my heart beat loud after eating and before sleep and I feel tightness in my chest most of time I m taking cough and cold medicines from last ten days
