3-4 months back, I was diagnosed with High BP. I did lipid profile n found triglyceride was 221 n rest of the components were under higher limits. I changed my fooding habit n started having fruits, salads n less oil n less  salty food n also started home remedy like raw garlic, lekin water, Fenoogreek seed water etc. I lost around 4 kg weight. I thought, my lipid will be normal now. But yesterday, I did a lipid profile again n found shocking readings. S cholesterol is 348, ldl was 277. I have also started doing regular walk. My bp reading g is above 160. Plz suggest what should I do?

I m 26.my heart beats very fast just by standing up or doing little movement.it goes from 65-70 when laid down to 130-150 or even more by standing.my ekgs and echocardiogram were normal.although they re that fast most of the time I dont feel palpitations.Im taking propranolol 40 mg a day for this but the rhythm is still the same

Hello! My father had a triple bypass surgery about 4 years ago. He’s in pretty good health but he just recently got remarried and his new wife is totally against big pharma so she made him stop taking all his heart medications. Which I think are some blood thinning pills and high blood pressure cholesterol pills. The doctors told him to take them for the rest of his life I’m pretty sure. He hasn’t taken them for three months. Could you tell me what could possibly happen if he doesn’t take them?

I had a valve replacement surgery on October 26th 2017 and I have been experiencing severe shoulder pain in and off ever since. I have a labral tear in my left shoulder that happened in 2009. I’ve had difficulty with this shoulder ever since. However since the open heart surgery the pain has been increasingly worse. It lasts a few days and the it goes away but this most recent issue began three days ago and the pain has grown increasingly worse. Is it related to the tear or the OHS?
