Suffering from high blood pressure from last month its around 170/110 continuesly after taking medicines also

My father had Chest pain for a week. He underwent ECG at a diagnostic lab in Bihar. His doctor told him that the report is abnormal. And he should go for Angiography. I told him to get a second opinion, by getting his ECG done again. Now how can we understand that, if it's fine or not?

I'm having high cholesterol now because of family history. I'm 26 years old, 73kg and 6' tall. Right now I have a total cholesterol of around 280 and LDL 220, and 40 HDL. Can I switch to e-cigarettes? Is that much safer? Does nicotine have a direct effect on cholesterol? I had anger issues last time I tried to quit. I'm again on that quitting attempt phase. Not sure how long I can hold on. What would you recommend?
