My father is a patient of Myocardial infraction. He is using MONIT SR 30, Metlor XR-50, cardace 5, ecosprin av 75 /20, dytor plus 10, pantop - d. He is having problem with cardace 5, as the dose increases from 2.5 mg to 5 mg he developed small swelling in his throat... What is the alternative to ACE inhibitors and ARB.

I had tmt in February 2019 and Echo in April 2020...both were normal... But I am highly symptomatic.. I have chest discomfort going to throat n arm since 2 and half years...I usually get ecgs done twice every month since 2019 and none of them has ever caught anything except sinus tachy Plz tell me for how long are normal TMT results valid? If it was not corona then wud have got it but now every day I have this question whether I shud go for repeat tmt and echo or not
