Hi, I'm a nursing mother and my son is 18 months old. For the past 8 months I have had frequent loose motions especially when I travel or when I dont sleep, after eating mutton / fish at times. I have never had digestion issue before delivery which bothered me a lot. I consulted a gastro doctor and did colonoscopy last month and everything is normal in my colon. No inflammation, ulcer or polyps. It was clean. After that doctor prescribed me anti diarrhoeal and probiotic for 15 days. It's been a month now but I still get mild cramps and loose stool (not diarrhea) when i eat fatty foods and also passing lot of gas than before colonoscopy. My periods are irregular still and I have noticed loose stool before and during periods also. Gal bladder, kidney, uterus and everything is normal in abdomen usg. Can I please know if I need to take any probiotic/ supplement on long term or any home remedy that helps? Please advise.

I have a tonsil infection in the previous month and that's why the doctor prescribed me a Lynx 500 antibiotic 3cap/ day ...after taking that I've suffered from frequent loose motion (3-4 times /day) I've taken o2 tablet also but loose motion cured for sometimes after that restarted... please give me any solution 🙏🏻

My uncle suffers from chronic IBS. But, over the past few days, his health got affected badly. Severe stomach burning. Got the endoscopy done today. Is it a surgical case ?

My husband suddenly developed painful lump in anus, no bleeding just too much pain. We went to a general physician, he prescribed sitz bath, an ointment, and tablet to help with the pain. He also suggested to take duphalac. Today morning the pain was too much so we went in emergency at a hospital, they checked and said the same thing, that it will be the best if it heals by itself in a few days. There's no emergency surgery for it. I don't know what will happen, I can't see my husband suffering like this. How many days does it take to resolve? It has been almost two days.

June 2024 I done colonoscopy. It shows chronic non specific colitis, infective ileo collits.doctors gave rejunex cd3 tablets.morning sudden stomach pain ,gas and motion, loose type motion after motion no pain.motion only 1time.do I need repeat colonoscopy. .is it ibd .plz reply
