My mother have had hysterectomy with Bso due to fibroids 5 year ago. Is there any long term implications for the surgery. Is the any thing which can be done to avoid the side-effects.

Last evening all of a sudden my mother's right hand side lower lip started swelling with pain. Her right hand side face also appears to be a little twisted and she is not able to talk properly at times. Smiling is also making her lip turn towards the right hand side instead of a curve. What could be the reason? I am worried. Attached the photo. Please have a look

My mother's lips started swelling and twisting all of a sudden last evening onwards. We assumed that it was an allergic reaction and did not pay heed.
