I use to have consistent body temp of 99 degrees for 2-3 hours in the day time. I have no other symptoms just have a little bit of cough. Is 99 degrees considered as a fever?

My father has been running a temperature of 101 to 103 since the past three days. He started with sneezing and a blocked nose and then followed by a dry cough which has now started to produce a very thick yellowish brown phelgm. Paracetamol is unable to bring the temperature down(taken four times a day and he has already started taking Azithromycin 500. Is this yellowish brown phelgm infection? But he is already taking antibiotics. Please suggest.

My father started sneezing non stop three days ago. Thereafter he has a blocked nose and constant coughing. Since yesterday he is running a temperature of about 101.3 to 102.2. Had taken Paracetamol/ Dolo/Calpol, but the temperature is not coming down. He has also started with Azithromycin 500, once a day. Paracetamol thrice a day is also not bringing down the temperature.
