My father is prescribed Predmet 8 to be taken twice for 3 days and once for next 3 days. He is prescribed this medicine when after 5 days of COVID +VE his fever was still fluctuating in range (97.5-98.8) his avg body temp is 96.0. I have looked up and found that this medicine is a type of steroid. If he takes this medicine till how many days it will remain in his system? What precautions should be taken after this medicine is stopped? This steroid is immuno supresent so how long his body immunity will remain weeken? Thanks in advance!

During My yearly medical test. I was dignost with high Sugar (336), Clostrol (291), and high TG 1150. What to do to control it and bring under range?

My sugar level reaches to 230, after eating 2 rotis  for lunch. But if I eat rice then the sugar level is 150 or below. Does roti increases sugar level? My Father aged at 82. He is diabetic and readings are 238/158. We did BP test at home, the reading came as 147/75. He used to take BP tablets when BP is high as per doctor instructions earlier. If BP is normal, no tablet. Can you please suggest if tablet is required for the BP reading of 147/75?

I was diagnosed with NAFLD/NASH recently. Doctor also suggested to get Fasting Insulin+FBS test done to check Insulin Resistance and then start appropriate treatment to avoid Type 2 DM. But all labs and some posts do mention that the Dinner Meal taken before the test significantly affect the tests. So what is the suggested Dinner Meal shall I take to ACCURATELY diagnose Insulin Resistance, if exists? Inaccurate results hamper and delay the much required treatment.
