My Father woke up with a swelling on his face and under eyes. Why does that happen? He's diabetic, his sugar levels are normal and no other ailments.

Since thyroid test is a hormonal test I have seen pathologist and doctors saying to come empty stomach and before 10 am to give the blood sample for thyroid profile test. Why is it so? I also went for parathyroid test and the doctor told me to give the sample in the morning around 7 am.

Age 61 My father is a type 2 diabetic patient. Age 61 He is undergoing medications like Ecosprin Gold 20 - 1 Daily Glycomet Gp 1 - Forte - 1 Daily Tenglyn M 500 - 1 Daily Telmikind 40 - 1 Daily Win 24 Capsules - 1 Daily Levipil 500 - 1 Daily GoldCal Kit Tablets - 1 Daily And these days his sugar level is around 250-300. Can he take covid 19 Vaccine in this sugar level? Or shall we wait to get the sugar level normal (175 in his case).

We have done hba1c test for my mother and it came as 7.2 in month of feb and 6.9 in month of May. She also had covid in April and now recovered. Almost 1 month completed. Hba1c reports snaps are attached.

My father is having diabetes since 8 years and he is taking medicine Vildagliptin and Triexer tablets. Are these tablets good should he continue the dosage and also his fasting reading is 140. Can you please consult as this is good to take this tablets and other things also.
