I consulted Dr for ear pain, she did ears cleaning with machine, now it's paining so much. Is it normal?

I have sore on base of tongue from last 3 days and tongue is inflamed tongue on top right side. Both sore and inflammation is on same side. I am using rexidin m gel. Can you please tell me what be done on this as I am facing discomfort on the right side of the tongue where the inflammation is there.
