Ear-Nose-Throat Problems
Stuffy Nose & Short Breath Since Long
I have short breath, stuffy, congested nose all year long since I can remember. I went to an ENT Doctor who looked at the inside of my nose, examined me & said I probably have dust allergy and said he could hear the congestion at the back of my throat making my voice thick. After taking his prescription & drops, nothing changed. I still get sick all year and have stuffy nose, shortness of breath and feel like i get winded very quickly and can never get enough breath in. What do i do? I have been struggling since years.

Oral Minoxidil worsen tinnitus left ear
I have a buzzing / pulsatile sound in my left ear only.
I consulted an ENT:
- Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA): Normal
- Tympanometry: Normal
Since all tests were normal, I was not using any ENT medicines.
Recently, I started having hair fall, so a dermatologist prescribed:
- Oral Minoxidil 0.25 mg daily
After starting oral Minoxidil, my left ear buzzing sound increased.
I want to know the actual cause, because oral Minoxidil increased the sound, so maybe you can tell what the reason could be.
I do not want to use random tinnitus medicines without knowing the cause.
My questions:
1. What could be the cause of pulsatile buzzing when ENT tests are normal?
2. Why oral Minoxidil worsen tinnitus / pulsatile tinnitus?
3. Should I continue oral Minoxidil and increase the dose, or stop it?
4. Any test that can tell the actual reason for pulsatile ringing in the left ear, especially since it increased after oral Minoxidil?
What is the reason for the buzzing sound

Ear irritation
I had used an earphone which was uncomfortable. Only used 3 or 4 times while riding bike. Its design was such that it went inside the ears. The helmet also pushed it inside.
This was about 4 months ago. I stopped using it as soon as it irrirated. I also used ear drops for a week after that. But even now, both ears are itching and irritating a bit. Not the whole day, but few times a day. No issues with hearing.
How do I fully get rid of this irritation?

Uncomfortable situation
Hi Doctor,
Suffering early-morning allergic sneezing and runny nose since childhood. For the past few years, I experience post-nasal drip and thick mucus in my throat as soon as I wake up, and I need to cough to clear it.
When I take a deep forced exhale, I feel a mild vibration/flutter near my throat/vocal cords.
My mucus worsens after lunch/dinner, especially in the evening and at night, along with burping and indigestion.
Sometimes I hear a slight wheeze only during long deep exhalation, but I do not have breathlessness at rest. I take Levocetirizine or Montelukast occasionally.
Could this be due to post-nasal drip + silent acid reflux (LPR) irritating the throat/airway, or early mild asthma triggered by allergy/reflux?
Before I consult in person, can you please suggest a medicine or treatment that I can try at home for 7–10 days to see if symptoms improve?
Thank you.
