Inflamed right tonsil with white spots

Hello, my right tonsil is inflamed with some white spots visible at the back and redness in the throat and it feels like something is stuck in my throat on the right side. however i do not have either fever or throat pain at all i touch the swollen tonsil with a swab. I had unprotected oral sex with a partner for the first time 5 days back i just wanted to know if this could be a symptom of an std. i do have a history of getting inflamed tonsils with tonsil stones too. please guide me on if i should get a std test done and what tests need to be done or should i wait for some days to see if it clears out on its own. its been 2 days since i have had this issue. thanks and regards.

Can cold or fever cause high TSH

I woke up with blocked nose and mild through pain(only uncomfortable when swallowing) and also the temperature was 99 and reached till 101.9. As I have prebooked full body check up for today and got the above mentioned symptoms. I went through giving sample for blood test. The results show that TSH is 6 where as T3,T4 are within the limits. Also ESR is comparitively high. CRP is also higher than mentioned intervals. Please suggest if this has anything to do with fever? Should I go for a retest after fews days once my fever is gone? Please help me understand. Thank you in advance
