Ear surgery tympanoplasty and mastoidect

I have all ok after surgery and hearing is normal now after 3 months. But my Dr still advised me to take bacanvit capsules lc and  kast tablet even after three months . I think after using antihistamines almost 3 months and still continuing the same. It is causing little irritation in my nose and facing breathing problems past 3 days. Kindly clarify me if it is due to longer use antihistamines tablets? Others things are perfectly normal.
