Chest & Breathing Problems

I have hypothyroidism since 3 years, I'm 19 And overweight I've been experiencing shortness of breath since quite sometime now it isn't that severe but it's also quite annoying to take deep and heavy breaths plus I am a mouth breather Could it be serious or is it just a symptom of hypothyroidism

My mother has a COPD and she is on steroids from last 4 years and is coughing atleast 4-5 times a day for minimum of 5-10 mins duration. Nothing helps her. I am looking for some Acupuncturist or anyone else who can help us to bring back her situation under control.

From last one week I'm suffering with cold in left side nose airway and light cough and Now in both sides. But from 2 days also suffering with Breathing difficulty problem. While I'm breathing in cheat getting some light sounds and I am feeling some difficulty if I breath strong. Now may I know what it is the issue? I am having coughing since more than 3 months, now i am having serious one with too much thick(yellow coloured) mucus coming out, and some kind of sound(i think so because of cough) from chest is also coming while i breath which creates disturbance because of that i am unable to get proper sleep in night. My nose are also blocked alternatively,also having problem while breathing. I visited to ENT specialist and doctor told me i have allergic to dust. I am worried very much. Please please let know if there is any specialist doctor to look into matter and also remedies. History--When i was 10 year old i had asthma problem, but later it was treated properly with medication.
