Chest & Breathing Problems

My father is suffering from Pulmonary TB. Doctor has suggested to use Forecox tablet (Daily 2) for 70 days. He is using from past 40 days and now he is getting knees and hands pains, Is this the side effect of tablet? Could you please suggest what diet has to maintain and what precautions he has to take?
