Chest & Breathing Problems
High breathing rate in baby
My baby is 15 months old... From few days my baby is having rapid breathing rate 50 to 55 per min...but this breathing rate occurs only when she is in sitting position...or siting idle...or stnading position...breathing rate is normal when she is sleeping or lying down...29 30 per min...
I went to 2 pediatrician both said her chest is clear no infection. ...one ped said ot might be due to nose blockage... But I am.not getting why does that nose blockage occur while in sitting position only not lying or while sleeping... I vl add here she is having some cold symptoms with sneezing and little wheezing sound while breathing...
Baby is active playing well...I want to know what can it be... I am so worried... Also she is havng asd of heart of size 4.5mm... Drs told me.it will get filled on its own....Can it be due to that... Someone told me ask dr abt RSV... Can it be RSV...
Plzzz help me dr...I am.getting negative thoughts...

My 69 year old mother who has lung cancer and was on immunotherapy.. was having coughing since 4 months, doctor doubted on pneumonitis.. her oxygen level was dipping a bit too but she was fine! Now suddenly since 1 week her oxygen level started dipping 70 but she had no cold or flu and so she is admitted and doctor saying she has pneumonia.. treatment is going on..
But how she got pneumonia? I had a normal cold one week ago, Could I have given my mother pneumonia? Could my simple cold have given my mother pneumonia?

Is broncoscopy needed for pneumonia trea
My 69 year old mother is admitted in ICU for pneumonia since 2 days.. She is stable..
She is a lung cancer patient on immunotherapy.. She also had pneumonia before 2 yrs ago but that time no broncoscopy was done and she was treated with medicines.. No sputum test was done either.. Why this time doctors are saying to perform Broncoscopy?? Isn't there a way to treat her without broncoscopy?? There is just dry cough so no sputum can be collected either!
Is broncoscopy necessary or not? Please help me..

Is Asthma Curable
I have asthma since childhood. Have tried all forms of medicine from Ayurveda in Kerala, Allopathy, Homeopathy, Unani. Medicines work for sometime with some doctors and then it stops responding later. Sometimes it responds immediately on first visit, sometimes it works after couple of months. I'm really fed up now. Taking Cipla capsule inhalers in case of emergency. I had visited a seminar by doctors in early 2000 and there Allopaths had said its not curable. Also, couple of allopathy meds had created side effects. Have shown to good Homeopaths as well. Is there any test which can find out the allergen causative for a particular patient? I'm in the verge of breaking down now. I cannot take regular baths as it aggravates the issue, stay away from cold foods, going out in winters, lot many things. Currently not in Delhi as well. I live in a rural side in Odisha. Pollution scenario is kind of ruled out as well. Please help
