Hi, patient(62) has cancer tumor in upper and mid rectum(4cm lenth x 1cm width tumor left after chemo-radio and 2 cycle chemo). Now the surgeon says he will remove the affected part and do anastomosis using laparoscopy with intermediate ileostomy. But patient doesn't want to have surgery fearing of sepsis death. Can we continue/manage with just chemo  and avoid surgery completely or is there any other remedy?

My have swelling in my inguinal lymph nodes left side and i had gluteal abscess on same side before few days. Also having thigh pain from 2 weeks. Feeling feverish from 2-3 weeks and temperature going upto 99.0F at evening. Also having some weird pain at lymph nodes location near armpit and shoulder. I have this severe lymphoma anxiety and searching whole day on internet from past month. Plz help how do i rule out lymphoma.

Hello doctor, Can you please advice on this. I see this written on my father-in-law MRI report. "SUPRATENTORIAL: Bright signal acquired on FLAIR / T2WI from bilateral paraventricular and subcortical white matter getting isointense on T1WI. No restriction diffusion seen. No GRE blooming seen."
